Adopt a Solider!

We have our very own solider to adopt.
Olena Ferguson, Rubber Stamp Studio customer, has been deployed to Iraq.
I know that many of you send cards for the troops.
Here's a direct line to someone we know!

This is the email I received from Olena:
Hi Rochelle, thank you for the response....i don't need too much right now. like always i would love some card-making supplies......the voltage is different here, so nothing that i need to plug in and it's sandy, eventhough i have indoor quarters. so if you can think of supplies that are basic, but will still make nice cards, then that would be great. i'll be making cards for Troops so they can send them to their families. the peel off stickers and markers to color them is something simple that i could think of. also cardstock, and simple stamps for the basic occasions. i left everything at home, due to packing constraints. i'm sure you and the other ladies will figure out what will be sufficient. just remember to send me examples so the cards I make look nice, LOL
That would be so nice to adopt me, cuz then i can make submissions here to Stars and Stripes newspaper regarding your effort in the war...i also want to submit an article(s) to the US craft magazines showing your support as well......i can take some pics of Soldiers with the stuff you send them...you'll be famous and get lots of business too :-). It is smelly(PHEW) here, cuz my compund is located on the water that Sadaam constructed here, and it smells like constant sewer water...i can't have candles, but i can always use any other types of air fresheners (not the kind that you plug in though, only the kind that you can put on a table).....any card craft mags will be cool too....i'm sorry i'm being so picky, i just don't want you to waste your time or money. i am so sad that i will miss this year's April show in Akron:-( I went last year and had a terrific time...you'll have to let me know all about it. if you can take a picture and send one to me of the ladies and the store, i'd like to use that in the magazine (printed over here)...they really like to see supportive stuff coming from the states.
well, nothing new here...we didn't get mortared today, so it's been very quiet...never know what 2morrow will being though.....tell everyone hello and will see you towards the end of this year....hugs, olena

I'd really like to support Olena, and hope that we can send her loads of great stuff to help her time away from home go more quickly.
Here's her address if you'd like to send her cards, supplies or anything else.
